M/S, ER and ICU Nurses Are Needed In The U.K.

The U.K. nurse recruitment market has truly gone back to its former liveliness as various NHS Trusts have started sourcing Filipino nurses since late last year. This shouldn’t be a surprise since the Nursing and Midwifery Council itself has encouraged U.K. nursing directors to accelerate the recruitment and arrival of international nurses as early as September 2020. Though many were alarmed by the more infectious COVID-19 variant that was discovered in the United Kingdom, it is worth noting that the country has one of the most number of individuals vaccinated against the coronavirus and its many other variants.

Filipino nurses, however, have observed that majority of the opportunities being offered are for those assigned in specialized areas, the most popular of which is the Intensive Care Unit. This has left many nurses wondering if they’ll be able to go to the United Kingdom at all in the future, especially since their hard-earned successful IELTS or OET results are already about to expire.
