Biggest Private Hospital in UAE to Recruit RTs and Parameds
Representatives of the American Hospital in Dubai are slated to visit Abba and interview applicants for various positions. The 143 bed hospital, the biggest non-government hospital in the United Arab Emirates, is on an expansion program, and will fill vacancies for the following positions: Respiratory Therapists, Cardiology Technicians, Electroencephalography (EEG) Technicians, Polysomnographic Technologists/Sleep Technicians.
To qualify for any of the above positions, the applicants must have at least three (3) years work experience in the position they apply for, a graduate of Respiratory Care Program or Accredited Nursing with trainings/certificates in specialization (e.g. Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or Polysomnography Studies Program and Noninvasive Cardiology), and has current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
American Hospital is one of the most prestigious hospitals in the Middle East and the first to get accredited by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) in the region. In 2009 the Hospital was reaccredited for the fourth time. The Hospital's medical laboratory is also accredited with the College of American Pathologists (CAP0, It is the first private laboratory in the Middle East to be accredited by CAP.)
