Celebrating Nurses’ Day: 2 UKRN’s Journey and an NCLEX Program for Aspiring USRNs
Belated Happy Nurses’ Day, everyone!
Last week was a pretty eventful one for nurses as nursing organizations, health care institutions and other relevant parties gathered together to celebrate the crucial role that they play in the world. It was the perfect time for nurses to step back from their busy schedules and recognize the many wins that they’ve achieved and the progress that they can look forward to in the future. There are still a lot of hurdles to surpass of course, but it’s good to note that nurses are somehow on the right track.
In line with this occasion, two U.K.-based Filipino nurses shared their positive experience with the National Health Service, the United Kingdom’s publicly funded healthcare system. Nurses Stephanie Magbanua and Paolo Zabat, who started working at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) just a few years ago, had only good things to say about their journey to the U.K. They were initially concerned with the new working environment as they were both international recruits. But despite this, they felt so much warmth and support from their colleagues instead, which allowed them to continue performing well even during the pandemic. You can check out their interview here.
Just like them, you can have a very fulfilling career in the U.K.—all you need to have is the right Trust. Good thing, ESNEFT is currently looking for Staff Nurses to join its team! It will be holding employer interviews on May 26, 2022. Check out the below details:

The United States’ National Council Licensure Examination or the NCLEX is considered to be the most challenging nurse licensure exam in the world. In the Philippines alone, less than half of the takers would usually pass it. It’s no surprise, then, that new NCLEX review centers have been continuously popping up everywhere in the country: With more Filipino nurses hoping to work and then permanently settle in the U.S., more of them are enrolling in review centers to increase their chances of passing the NCLEX.
Before, our biggest U.S. employer client used to accommodate NCLEX passers for its job vacancies only. Today, it has started accommodating non-NCLEX passers, thanks to its free NCLEX Review Program! It is now offering a program that will assist nurses in passing the NCLEX: No need to spend huge amounts of money just to enroll in an NCLEX review center because our employer offers its program at no cost. If you are interested in this, you can check out the below details.
