Ireland’s Baaaaack

After a noticeably long hiatus, big tertiary hospitals in Ireland have started recruiting Staff Nurses once again. This is a huge deal because it’s been years since the last time that they’ve recruited for hundreds of nurses like this. As the Philippines’ #1 recruitment agency for Filipino nurses bound for Ireland, we can also attest at how seasonal the demand for nurses in this European country can be: Due to the country’s small size and population, we’ve witnessed how its hospital vacancies can get filled up real fast!

From 2000 – 2007, we sent hundreds of Filipino nurses to Ireland. From 2008 until 2015, we practically stopped hiring for this market since the nurses that we’ve sent in the previous years have already filled up all of the country’s vacancies. From 2016 until 2018, our Ireland clients relayed 500 Staff Nurse vacancies for us to process. They stopped recruiting again by 2019 and then just last month, they relayed job vacancies to us once again—yes, after almost 2 years! This scenario is the reason why we tell our applicants that mass job vacancies like these have their own time. It may seem that some nursing vacancies will always be around for the taking, but it’s surprising that changes in the application process, global events, and other external factors can suddenly transform the situation. It’s ideal, then, that nurses take advantage of the opportunities while they’re still here.

If you haven’t lodged your Ireland application yet, don’t waste any more time. Check out the below details and see if you are qualified!
