This Mayo Clinic Hospital in the U.A.E. is Hiring
Last May 29 and 30, 2022, thousands of aspiring RNs have taken the Nursing Board Exam (NLE), the licensure exam that Filipino nurses have to take to be able to legally practice their profession in the Philippines. The Philippine Regulation Commission or the PRC is expected to release the results anytime within June 10 – 21, 2022, making this month a very important one for both Filipino nurses and all Filipinos. With these results, we’ll learn if the number of takers and passers have indeed increased versus last year. We’ll also know by how much the HCW overseas deployment cap will increase, as this is said to be largely influenced by the number of new nurses that will get licensed. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope for a positive result!
Meanwhile, something good is at least happening for our more experienced Filipino nurses—thanks to an overseas employer that’s located miles away from the Philippines. The United Arab Emirates, one of the top countries of work destinations among Filipino nurses, has gotten back to hiring nurses once again through one of the country’s most important projects, the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City! Read on if you’re an experienced Filipino nurse who’s gunning to work abroad.
