What Awaits Aspiring UAE RNs?

While Western countries remain at the top of mind for aspiring overseas nurses due to their promising benefits that can extend up to their qualified dependents, nurses are also aware of their long and tedious process, which makes them divert their focus, perhaps for a certain period, while waiting for the opportunity in this greener pasture.

It's a common trend for nurses to pursue a different path while sitting through the lengthy process in Western countries, particularly being a USRN. While a significant number seek a distant track, it is also good to know that a certain percentage of nurses remain on track in pursuing a career within their industry. One famous track while waiting for their time in the West is the Middle East.

Compared to Western countries, the nurses' application process is relatively shorter and has fewer requirements. This is why the Middle East is an ideal side quest while aspiring green card holders await their turn. While many nurses see the Middle East as a "side quest" for their end goal or maybe a support for their ultimate dream, the Middle East is also famous for its excellent benefits that make some nurses choose this as their end goal instead of taking the risk of pushing through Western countries. One particular country, to be exact, is the UAE.

In general, the UAE is known for its generous tax-free salary, which means you get to enjoy the whole take-home pay. Imagine living in an exquisite and safe country where you don't have to pay taxes. Incredible, right? Another thing that makes it attractive to fellow Filipino nurses is its growing Filipino community, which makes the adjustment even smoother. It's quite like travelling to a province within the Philippines rather than a different country, all because there's a high chance that you'll get to meet a kabababayan most of the time. Aside from that, the UAE is known for its cutting-edge technology and multicultural workforce. Having the opportunity to work in this country allows you to experience modern facilities that will be beneficial for the advancement of your career. Not to mention, collaboration with other nationalities will evidently contribute to your skill in interacting with diverse cultures, whether it be patients or colleagues.

If you think these are just the bare minimum, wait until you see what our latest UAE employer has to say. Response Plus Medical, our latest UAE employer, provides these competitive benefits to its nurses:

  1. Free shared bachelor accommodation and transportation. This is a huge help to nurses working overseas as they don't have to spend on their accommodation. Come to think of it, the average cost of accommodation in the UAE costs around AED 2,500-3,000/ month, which is Php 33,000-50,000 per month. Having their accommodation one less thing to worry about enables them to save more for their future plans.

  2. Along with the accommodation is the free transportation. Response Plus Medical doesn't just care about their nurses by providing a place to stay. They offer a complete package by providing transportation means for their employees to their work location and back to their accommodation.

  3. Aside from the accommodation and transportation, this employer will shoulder your licensing and visa costs. Seems there won't be anything else you'll take out of your pocket but the personal expenses that you'll take.
