To qualify for the VSH direct hire program, candidates must meet U.S. hospital standards. This includes having at least two years of recent bedside experience to ensure your clinical skills remain sharp and relevant. Experience in high-demand specialties—such as Medical-Surgical (MS), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Telemetry, Emergency Room (ER), Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), or Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility—is especially valued. Most importantly, being an NCLEX passer is required, as it validates your readiness to practice in the U.S. and greatly strengthens your chances for placement.
