Cardiac Physiologist Vacancies in Ireland




Abba Personnel Services, Inc. is the POEA-licensed agency that has deployed the most number of Filipino nurses to Ireland until today. This is due to the country’s 2 large waves of nurse staffing needs, the first of which happened in 2000 -2007, followed by the next one which already happened in 2016 until last year.


Ireland remains to be one of the hottest destinations among Filipino nurses because it offers the usual benefits of a Western country, but through a much faster and simpler recruitment process. Like the U.S. and the U.K., Ireland has a diverse culture that offers equal opportunities to everyone. It has a sizable Filipino community, thanks to the many Filipino nurses who were already able to migrate here for good. It boasts of modern health care standards and facilities, progressive training and high compensation, all without requiring a nurse to pay any placement or processing fee.


Unlike other Western countries, however, Ireland has a pretty fast and simple recruitment process. An IELTS or OET passer nurse can get deployed to Ireland in 2 – 6 months, which is practically the same duration of a Middle East application! Aspiring Ireland RNs will usually only be required to go through an adaptation program in Ireland (instead of take a nurse licensure exam here in the Philippines) and take a basic medical exam to be able to fly there. Additionally, the required IELTS and OET scores were recently changed, making either easier to pass.




But as what we always tell applicants, large-scale job opportunities have their own time and sadly, the nurse requirements of Ireland have significantly declined. We ourselves aren’t sure when Ireland hospitals will be needing Filipino RNs again, but we hope that this reminds all of us to take advantage of recruitment campaigns when they’re still available. On a brighter note, Cardiac Physiologist vacancies have opened up at UPMC Whitfield Hospital in Waterford, Ireland. Though these vacancies are for other healthcare professionals, this may be a sign that Ireland may soon go back to recruiting Filipino RNs. Below are the job vacancy details:


EMPLOYER DESCRIPTION

UPMC Whitfield Hospital, previously known as Whitfield Clinic, is the largest private hospital in South East Ireland. Located in Waterford, the facility provides outstanding care to patients for routine surgical ailments, as well as more complex and challenging medical conditions. Since 2006, UPMC Whitfield Hospital has been providing diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, radiotherapy and elective surgery to both public and private patients.

Senior Cardiac Physiologist: € 45,266 - € 52,414 (~ PhP 2.5M - 2.9M)

Chief II Cardiac Catheterisation Physiologist: € 50,743 - € 63,660 (~ PhP 2.8M - 3.6M)

- 3 years of solid work experience as a Cardiac Physiologist

- graduate of a 4-year BS Medical Technology course

- has experience in Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, and Cardiac Rhythm Management

- qualifications must be accepted by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement of Science (IICMS)

Chief II Cardiac Catheterisation Physiologist:

- 5 years of solid experience as a Cardiac Physiologist

- has experience in Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, and Cardiac Rhythm Management

- graduate of a 4-year BS Medical Technology course

- qualifications must be accepted by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement of Science (IICMS)

- IELTS / OET is not required
